My family openly expressing their dislike toward Mc is quickly getting old

They’ve met them all of three times [at most] and don’t have a single positive thing to say about him. They haven’t been around him or us enough to see the amazing and wonderful things that he does for me and they haven’t given him a chance. It’s getting really old and there’s nothing I can do to make them see him in a different light because they are never around when he’s here. 

I don’t need justification from my family about my relationship, but it would be nice if they didn’t express their dislike about him to my face. I don’t need to hear that they don’t think he’s in this relationship for the long haul or that they’ve never seen him out of basketball shorts and t-shirts. It’s completely ridiculous and out of hand.
