You don’t understand though, it hasn’t rained here in years!

I shouldn’t say it like that because it makes it seem like we’ve literally had no rain in years. We’ve had a few rain showers over the past few years, but we haven’t had enough rain over the last 10 years.

Texas is currently in one of the worst droughts in history. It’s so heartbreaking! We need all the rain we can get!
