But really so many amazing things happened this weekend

Mc is really just super amazing and I really do fall more in love with him every single time I get to see him. I think the constant distance in our relationship has made us stronger. 

He got in Saturday early evening and we headed out to dinner. It was nice to actually go out child free on a Saturday night, we don’t hardly ever get to do that. After dinner we stopped and grabbed some drinks and headed to the house, we watched Breakfast At Tiffany’s and snuggled up together under a blanket. 

Sunday was supposed to be filled with movies and shopping sans child, but my ex-husband decided to head back to Midland early so we had Brockton with us. After fighting to get Mc out of bed for 2 hours we finally got up and headed to the bowling alley. We played a few arcade games, bowled a game then played some more games and finally headed to lunch. We took our time at lunch and ended up being at Chuy’s for over 2 hours eating and having drinks, it was really quite fabulous. 

Last night after Brockton went to bed we poured ourselves some drinks and watched 60 minutes together and caught up on all the things going on in our lives. Then we watched a few shows and made out like teenagers. Before we knew it 11pm rolled around, we’d had 4 really strong drinks and we both decided that it’d be a bad idea for Mc to drive back to Austin. So we crawled into bed and snuggled together till the stupid alarm went off at 4:30am and we both promptly decided that’d we’d much rather just snuggle than actually get up and moving around. Mc finally left close to 5am and made it back to Austin just before 7am.

This whole weekend was perfect, he’s such an amazing man, he’s so good with Brockton, he is so sweet to me and made sure that he took care of me. We talked about him moving down here and getting a job here because it just made sense for him to get out of Austin for awhile. I think it’d be good for both of us, so it’s something that’s going to be taken into serious account within the coming months. Things are moving forward and I couldn’t be happier.
